Release Notes:

1)Separated the installation file for Windows (the msi)
file into two msi files.
The dependencies that are very large files, and change less
frequently, have been made into a separately posted msi
file. Installation procedure:
-- Uninstall old Transmission3D
-- Install T3DDependencies.msi
-- Install Transmission3D.msi

2)Sped up execution of SEARCHSTRESS for large models,
especially for plots vs TFACE for a large number of
face divisions, or vs profile for a large number of
profile divisions. The speed improvement will be
more noticeable in models with a large number of
bodies.

3)Enabled MULTI_GPU feature for the contact solver

4)For hobbed gears, the normal profile of the rack is
written out to a .hob file in the calyxtmp folder
when the GENERATE command is executed.

5)Added the capability of displaying the rack's
normal cross section in iSys' Cutter menu, when
the manufacturing process is "Hobbed".

6)Added a new feature to use an imported numerical
rack profile for involute gears. This will be useful
for customers with customized rack geometry. The
format of this file is the same as the .hob file
that is written to the calyxtmp folder.

7)Added a set of samples in SAMPLES/NumericalRack to
show how the numerical rack capability should be used, for
SUN gears and planetary PINIONs.

8)Added a new feature in iSys to for a hypoid-hypoid
gear pair, to calculate deviation between the gear pair
as modeled, relative to the gear pair as designed.
The design/nominal shaft angle and shaft offset have
to be entered into the PAIRS menu to trigger the
calculation. The deviations are shown as the
hypoid assembly errors (VHRBeta/EPGAlpha).

This also can be used to recalculate the pinion/gear
rotor location and orientation when
the E,P,G or Alpha values are changed.

9)Added an option XAXIS = SPROF in the post-prcessing
CONTACT menu

10)Added the XFER_TORQUE option for SHAFT_CARRIER
contact pairs.

11)Improvement to hypoid mesh generators, if the intersection
between the secondary face cone and the face cone got too
close to the back or front of the tooth, the secondary face
is discarded during mesh generation. We now allow the
length of the secondary face cone flat to be much smaller
before discarding it.

12)Allow negative tooth thickness for internal gears with
pitch circle lying outside of the tip circle.

13)Made all DSPROF variables always visible and adjusted the
help message to inform users that this is inital value
when ADATIVEGRID=ON

14)Added validation in pair menu for PinionHand and
PinionIsMember1 items for Hypoid-Hypoid pairs
custom menu in iSys.

15)Removed the restriction that the depth of a pit on gear
teeth or bearing surfaces be positive. This will allow
us to represent effects such as grains of dirt on the
surface.

16)Update to CUDA 12.8 from CUDA 10.2

17)Removed two Cuda dlls cusparse64_12.dll and
cusolver64_11.dll from distributables because
they are not being used by calyx.exe

18)Increased the limit on the circular order at
various locations on a planetary pinion, from
64 to 128.

19)Multithreaded the iGlass file generation

20)Improved CPU utilization during LoadCondensation and
Backsubstitution steps.

22)Improved layout of PAIRS custom menu in iSys.

23)Writing a temp file with free mode threshold, and eigenvalue
summary to calyxtmp/SYS_EIGENVALS.DAT. Only the
first 20 free mode and first 10 stiff mode
eigenvalues are being written. This can be used to
troubleshoot models.

24)Added additional information in the warning message that
is shown when the location of the measurement point in the CMM
file does not match exactly with the specified measurement
point for hypoid gears

25)Fixed description for CONSTRAINAXIALMOTIONBEARING variable

26)Improvements in error and warning messages handling by multyx.

27)Improved error messages report in multyx log window from CVTABQ

28)Improved log messages about the GPU used, that calyx shows upon
the start of the contact solver.

29)Added script file Find_Pattern_Results_At_RZ_Values.cmd to
show how you can extract results from a contact pattern,
at specific locations (R,Z).

30) Added script file post_rotorshaft_pressfit_contactresults.cmd
to show how to extract contact results at a press-fit interface.

31)Bug Fix: In detailed roller bearings, when the contact
rolls over the boundary between two adjacent sectors
of the inner or outer race, we were seeing a jump in
the deformation of the race. This has been fixed.

32)Bug Fix: For ball bearings and spherical roller bearings, the
clearance was implemented along the normal direction, but
input variable was mis-labeled RADIALCLEARANCE in the GEOMETRY menu.
The label is not correct. It has been renamed to CLEARANCE now.

We have also added a new variable BALL_CLEARANCETYPE_ROLLERBEARING
to set the type of clearance in the BALL and SPHERICAL bearings to
either RADIAL or NORMAL. Old session files will have
this variable set to NORMAL, so as to not change the
behavior of old session files. A new variable has
BALLRADIALCLEARANCEROLLERBEARING been added to hold the
radial clearance.

Similar changes have been made for pinion bearings.

The schematics for the BALL and SPHERICAL bearings have been modified.

We have also changed the label of RADIALCLEARANCE and AXIALCLEARANCE
to CLEARANCE when TYPE=GENERAL,TAPERED,DOUBLETAPERED for consistency
between all roller types.

33)Bug Fix: In the face milled mesh generator, when UseCMMThickness is
enabled, we want to ignore the UseSpreadBladeThickness variable.
But we were not ignoring UseSpreadBladeThickness. This was triggering
an error in the mesh generator.

34)Bug Fix: Removed error message triggered by a negative
InnerConeAngle for an involute gear tooth.

35)Bug Fix: Fixed sun base race error when InnerConeAngle is negative.
Fixed incorrect sun base FourierDofSet angle when InnerConeAngle = 0

36)Bug Fix: We were using OUTERDIA2SEGPINIONSHAFT and
INNERDIA2SEGPINIONSHAFT of a bevel pinion shaft segment
to calculate the separation tolerance numbers for a
'front' washer contact pair. This was crashing Calyx when
USECONEANGLEOUTERSEGPINIONSHAFT was enabled and
OUTERDIA2SEGPINIONSHAFT and INNERDIA2SEGPINIONSHAFT were
undefined.

37)Bug Fix: Mesh frequency was not set correctly calculated
when a contact pair was specified inside the Carrier menu.

38)Bug Fix: Fixed total times reported at the end of the analysis. The
CPU time used by analysis scripts was being included under the
header "WritePostProcFile". It has now been moved to the
header "PostAnalysisTasks" instead,

39)Bug Fix: Modified the calculation of the maximum rack tip diameter,
so that when protuberance is enabled, it makes sure that the
length of the straight section of the protuberance does not
become negative.

40)Bug fix: We were allowing the user to change the
manufacturing method for a Beveloid gear, even though our
beveloid gear only implements the Hobbed method.

41)Bug Fix: Synchronization for a double-pinion planetary systems.
Systems with double-pinion planetaries were failing to
synchronize, especially when the pinion-pinion pair
appeared before the sun-pinion or ring-pinion pair.

42)Bug Fix: Update KlingenbergMKAFile Reader. This fixes issue
when only lead or profile charts is available with TOPO label.

43)Bug Fix: Fixed four point ball bearing schematic

44)Bug Fix: Fixed a multyx and calyx crash on start-up when
the Nvidia driver version is too old.

45)Bug Fix: When reading a Nastran bdf file with shell elements,
if a CQUAD4 shell element is used, but some non-blank value
is specified in the 8th (Theta/MCID) or 9th (ZOFFS) column,
then the reader could not read the element record.

46)Bug Fix: In iSys, some user actions (like pasting a sub-tree)
were creating multiple entries in the Undo table. This
forced the user to press the Undo button multiple time to
Undo an action that had been previously posted.

47)Bug Fix: The LOADSPA command in the HYPOID|SPAFILE menu
was not being recorded in the journal file multyxjournalXXX.txt
when invoked through guide/multyx.
